MMA in Ruston, LA
MMA at Triad blends striking and grappling under coaches who compete. Kids MMA (ages 6-12) and adult MMA (ages 13+) each have their own track, alongside an MMA Skills and Drills class for all levels.
Instructor: Josh Lee (adult) and Gunnar Moskau (kids MMA).
Who it's for
Ages 6 through adult. Kids MMA is for ages 6-12 and adult MMA is for ages 13 and up, with an MMA Skills and Drills class.
What a typical session looks like
Sessions mix striking and grappling drills, pad work, cage wrestling, and controlled sparring — scaled to each age and experience level.
What to expect in your first class
Show up a few minutes early and we'll get you oriented — a quick tour, a waiver, and an introduction to your instructor. Class opens with a guided warm-up, then the technique of the day broken down step by step. You'll drill it slowly with a partner, and beginners start with controlled positional work rather than full live rounds. No experience is needed, and you can sit out any round you want. Your first class is free — book it online or drop in before class.
