Choudrant is a short trip east on I-20 from Triad Martial Arts Academy of Ruston — about fifteen minutes door to door. For a town that values community and a close-knit feel, having a full martial arts academy this close means you don't have to choose between BJJ, Judo, MMA, and kickboxing. All four train under one roof, taught by instructors who coach like you're part of the family.
Programs open to Choudrant residents
Adults can start with our Adult Beginner BJJ class on Monday at 5:45 PM, then move into Adult Gi BJJ or Adult No-Gi BJJ throughout the week. Judo runs Tuesday evenings with a 2nd-degree black belt and certified USA Judo instructor. Kickboxing classes run Wednesday at 7:00 PM, Thursday at 7:30 PM, and Saturday at 10:30 AM.
Kids ages 4-15 have their own tracks — Little Kids (4-7), Big Kids (8-15), a homeschool gi class, and a kids competition class — and our women's-only program is taught by female instructors, including a 2022 IBJJF Masters 1 World Champion.
